Across the Asia-Pacific region, there exist wide variations in the acceptance of modern contraceptives. Low acceptance rates of oral contraceptives, for example, generally correlate with a high incidence of abortions and unwanted pregnancies.

APCOC’s main goal is to empower women in Asia Pacific with the right information, education and communication (IEC) to provide them with the opportunity to make informed choices in contraception.

The mission of APCOC is to tackle the ontraception related issues providing contraception education for the general public, in particular women in Asia Pacific and best practice strategies for healthcare providers in the following areas
